Charlie's knapsack is his rainbow connection.

The first time that this rainbow purse became a backpack he did it all by himself.  Now he just struggles to figure out how to get it on and requires a bit of assistance but is quite happy when he gets it on.  I'm sure this is what Marci had in mind when she gave this lovely hand knitted purse to Viola, don't you?
