Guess who is throwing back his own water bottle?
This Charlie.
After eating an entire banana (the monkey way, not with a spoon) this one guzzled some water from his hand me down kleen kanteen.

Big Bed
Viola and Charlie had some fun tackling and tickling in Mama and Papa's be this morning. The best part was that it didn't end in tears.
Sharing Corn
Charlie and I got some corn from Viola's Vegetable Market. The best thing about shopping at her store is that everything is free! I think I'll do all of my shopping there from now on. I would have gotten a picture of the market but she said that the vegetables can not be photographed until spring.

Kisses All Around
Charlie started kissing me a couple of weeks ago (he learned it from an 11 month old at church, lookout!) and I have been trying to catch a photo of the love. I set up the camera on top of the coffee pot in the kitchen and tried to entice him to smooch. He wasn't going for it so Viola said that she would kiss me.
Eventually he caught on to what we were trying to do and planted a big wet one on me.
He is also very cute at receiving kisses, wouldn't you say?

The Excellent Big Sister
I plopped Charlie down in the highchair to run some laundry upstairs and Viola took it upon herself to "read" him a book. He loved it.

57 Degrees Today
While i ran up to the hospital visit new baby Emilia my amazing friend/neighbor Anna watched the little people. Thanks Anna!! They decided to play outside, which makes perfect sense on a beautiful sunny day. When I got back I strapped Charlie on my back and scooped months of poop from two dogs. A lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon. Charlie reached his little hand out and held the pooper-scooper handle for me. I don't think that I could have done it with out him.
While we did that Viola prepared some dirt for "planting corn".
Baby Emilia has Arrived
I took Anna's belly photos just in time because the next day she began labor.
Welcome to Emilia Faye. So tiny and precious.

It's hard to get a picture of tiny teeth.
Charlie's first teeth have been emerged for some time but I have not been able to get the right angle on them. Today when he was standing up holding onto the chair I could see them perfectly so I decided today was the day and that was the spot. It's taken some perseverance but behold photos of the teeth...
First there were tears, but I didn't let that deter me.
After lunch and a nap I gave it another go. Nothing but cuteness errrg.
There they are.
And again, I am amazing.

V for Viola
We found a "V" shaped corn chip tonight while we were enjoying a bit of chips and salsa. Viola thought that it was awesome.
Then she ate it.
Anna's Having a Baby! And we found a dinosaur egg.
We took Anna out yesterday for some belly shots before the little dumpling emerges (which could happen any day now).
Viola came along too, thankfully our friend Miriam came along to make sure she didn't fall in the river while I was taking pictures. Thanks Miriam you did a great job.
And Viola found an excellent walking stick. But it got left behind because toward the end of our walk she decided that it was making her cold.
I call this one, Basking in the joy of impending Motherhood.
Here is the fossilized dinosaur egg that we found.
