Capes are for flying

He was a little bit excited and a little bit terrified and he wanted to go again.
 Super Charlie, Super messy.

Field Day and Fun Run!

A beautiful sunny day at Viola's school on Friday!
Viola did seven laps in the color run!

And somebody thought that it was a good idea to let Charlie and his buddy Fletch spray people with color.
When there were no runners they just sprayed each other.
After some hard work spraying people pink, watermelon is a must!

There's always time for a brother hug.
And Peter thought that the field felt nice between his fingers and toes.

And just like that...

...Peter Robin is 6 months old; chubby, sitting up and eating puffs.
My friend Jenny loaned us this little hand made felt robin to take pictures with.
He's not sure that he likes the puffs. After a shocked reaction he sucks on them and then spits them out.  But he sure looks happy about eating them.

Viola's front tooth fell out in the middle of eating an Italian sausage tonight.

Literally it fell out of her mouth onto the floor.  We were nervous that the dog was going to eat it.
 She is beyond ecstatic.
She found this spot and told me that I needed to photograph her here because it would look like a movie.  No prompting on my part that expression is all her.
Still smitten with her baby brother.
He feels the same way about her.

When living in a dry climate...

 ...one must keep hydrated.
Whenever possible get your hydration from a vintage pink elephant glass.
Because it's very classy.

What else do you do on a cold rainy day?

Charlie wanted to dress up like a girl today (probably because Viola suggested it).  I gave him a few other ideas.  Guess which one he picked.

Viola is the coolest!

This girl caught a snake in our garden, Twice!  She has one named Ninja Lucy as a class pet so she wasn't nervous about it one bit.  She did not, however, like the fact that it urinated all over her hands.
I was a bit nervous that Mary was going to snatch it out of her hands and massacre it.  Thankfully she didn't.  I don't think that Charlie could have been more impressed with his sister.

Banana Times

Peter has started looking longingly at some of our food.  He sucked on some carrots, apples, and green beans but that didn't satisfy him so he went after my chia seed pudding.  He's my third, so I gave him some.  We decided it was time to let him have a go at some banana.  He loved it!

"Now that's what I'm talking about!"
