Field trip

Viola has been running a preschool/kindergarten out of our storage room.  There are lessons in letter writing, numbers and spelling for older kids, play-dough and coloring for younger kids and everyone gets to go out on a field trip to look for fall leaves.  She's much more successful at teaching Charlie than I am.  He did very well in the spelling bee.

When you have a basket of scarves you can be anything

Like a ninja.

  Some ninjas are scarier than others.

 Viola is getting into black and white photography.  She captured a rather menacing portrait of the ninja.

 Some ninja tricks might seem scary but I assure you that its nothing for a well trained ninja.

 Another day you can be a pirate.

Don't forget to cut out some cereal box swords for the full effect.

Peter loves...

 ...a nice cold cup of milk (from a cow!),

 when his brother decides to be nice to him,

and eating with a fork.
