It's a hot and sunny Saturday. We've been for a hike and now it's time to get wet!

Salt Lake City, Spring Break!
Our dear friends and former neighbors the Wares have lived in Salt Lake City for almost two years now and we finally got to go visit. It was a lovely time with good talks, walks and delicious food.
Our first day involved some grocery shopping and a trip to the prepare for the end store Honeyville.
Then a lovely stroll along a creek. The kids were far more interested in playing in the creek than walking. Fair enough.
Day two. The Angert Family joined us and we went to the Museum of Natural History where this group of people asked Morgan if they could stick toothpicks in his beard as a marriage building exercise. I'm not sure how it helped but okay.
I'm sure they won the contest because Morgan told all of the other groups "NO".
Viola got to see a real paleontologist working and he waved at her. WOW.
She fit perfectly in this footprint. I'm sure glad there isn't anything leaving footprints like this anymore!
I think Lucy is a budding dinosaur enthusiast.
We built a dam and flooded it. Even the littles got in on the action.
Charlie really liked this wolf. Don't tell him that he's dead.
Viola got some good cuddles and hugs with her "best of all friends" Anna.
A blurry attempt at a group photos. You get the idea.
Precious little Lucy.
We spent an evening at this park hanging out on a hill. Lovely.
The father-daughter teams checked out the lake and declared it "disgusting".
But the view made up for the nasty water.
Brian and Viola bottom right.
Seriously look at that view. Amazing!
This one slept through the whole thing. Looking at dinosaur bones is exhausting.
Last day. We enjoyed worshiping at Davis and Anna's church including some accordion by Davis and a good meal all together then we headed off to check out the Great Salt Lake. It certainly was salty.
When we finally made it across the salt flat and past all of the dead birds it was declared that the lake smelled like death and we kept moving. But we can say that we saw it.
It at least got some of our wiggles out before the long car ride home.
I tried to take a selfie with Viola but she kept trying to get behind me. Silly girl.
Thank you Davis and Anna for such a wonderful fun time in your new home. We can't wait to meet the new addition!

Mini Papa
Charlie asked for a beard just like Papa's. Why not, it's Spring Break!
The fellas had fun admiring their matching facial hair in the mirror.
Definitely little Brian.
Thank you Crayola, for your washable marker magic.

Sweatsville Zoo
We started Spring Break right with a trip to this amazing and free destination with some fun friends.
Who knew there were so many things you can make with some metal junk and a blowtorch?
"Photo Bomb with big foot"
Some silliness occurred.
And they had one of these!
We made some music.
And kicked the proverbial tires on this rocket.
Viola told this character a secret. "You're Monica."
Good Times!

The Bailey Adams Family and the boulders
We had the pleasure of hosting the cousins for a night on their Spring Break adventure. It was a grand time. We spent our short time together hiking, bouldering, playing in a park, and enjoying a fine meal together. There was also a bit of snow throwing!
Charlie took the cousins to see his favorite "sharp rocks".
We found some fun.
The fellas.
Silly girls.
The climbing got pretty serious.
And we achieved an official family photo.
It was too short. Stay longer next time!
