"I'm a fan of Beets!"

 Viola ate two and a half large beets for dinner and almost nothing else.  Don't you hate it when your kid eats all of your beets.

Charlie and the Women

I got to go to a women's conference with twenty ladies from my church this weekend and guess who else got to come.  Charlie got to be included since he has nursling status.  Everyone took a turn holding him, he loved it.

Look who's in the crib

Now that Viola has moved into her twin, the crib is back together and ready for Charlie.

Big Girl Bed!

 There is a new addition to the Brian Newell Furniture Collection.  Viola has moved into a twin.  She's just a little bump in a big bed but as you can see she is beyond excited.

 There are even drawers for all of her clothes.  And that is my comforter from my college dorm bed.  Glad we kept that around.

On the Cusp of Crawling

 Charlie is really working hard these days to get on the move.  So far he only pushes himself backwards.

Scary Movie

Viola just drew this scary movie for Papa.  The red is the bad guys, green is the good guys, yellow is the good aliens, and purple is the bloody grass.  And no, Viola hasn't been watching any movies with bloody grass.

5 Months old...and some push-ups

 Charlie is doing lots of push-ups these days.  The crawling is near.  I'm not sure whether to be excited or nervous.  Probably a little of both.

We Believe in you Bailey

My brother Bailey is running a 100 mile race today and we were asked to send in a photo to show our support.  (I think that it has something to do with football, i don't know) but go get 'em Bailey.

Brian went for a little hike on Mt Audubon last Saturday

Eric took Brian hiking again.  They encountered a wee bit of snow, and almost froze to death.  Sounds like fun.

We Have a Sofa!

After about a year of being couchless, we joined the rest of the western world in sofa ownership.

By the way.  It turns into a bed so we are ready for guests.  Come on out to Colorado.
