We had a lovely visit out west to hang out with some of the best people in the world. I didn't get pictures of all of them but here is a little sample of the fun.
Starting with a jaunt to the Swetsville Zoo. If you've been thinking that you always wanted to go here now is the time. It's soon to be demolished. Hurry!
The Swetsville Zoo is a jungle of metal animals. It's amazing.
The River was just a tiny bit high keeping us from fully exploring the collection.
Some samplings of the Zoo's "creatures".
We're all so sad to see it go.
Viola found her happy place by the quickly flowing Poudre River.
Viola and Charlie put on a wedding at the Vander Wilts. It was very serious (except for the giggling.)
And we had a little doughnut birthday celebration for Charlie with his old friends.
I love all of these people.
Peter found it in his heart to celebrate Charlie with the eating of a doughnut.
Lebedda love.
Can you tell how excited they were to take this picture?
Next we headed to Salt Lake City by way of Colorado National Monument. It was just mildly amazing.
Peter worried about driving near the edge. He used his best coping mechanism of taking a nap to get through it.
We celebrated Charlie's real birthday and our reunion with the Wares by going to a farm. Everybody loves a farm.
Eden did her best to be adorable.
Peter loved all of the animals.
This guy is 5!
When I told Charlie to pack a hat for our trip, this is what he chose.
Family Photo!
It was an altogether wonderful time visiting with dear friends.
