We headed out to Hope Farms for fall harvest to take pictures and ended up working the land, kind of.

After we frolicked around taking pictures pretending to be farmers, the real farmer, Ben put Viola and I to work, hauling butternut squash, and harvesting the Swiss Chard.  I was a little concerned about letting Viola loose on the Chard but Farmer Ben coached her through it and she did a great job.  She's learning so many valuable skills for her "someday" farm.
 Viola looking so American Gothic.

Does this make you want to be a farmer for a day?
